An IPS innovation o.O

Was möchte Matt also damit sagen?, dass seiner länger ist?

Wie weit wurde das Cach Problem gelöst?

This release fixes up over 80 bugs identified in the second BETA release (full list at the end of this post).

BETA RELEASE LIMITATIONS

Please note that this release is NOT officially supported in any way. This release has been made available to help identify and fix bugs in the software and is not of release quality in any way and should NOT be used in a production environment in any instance. We are also NOT offering installation service on this release.

UPGRADING FROM IPB 2.0.x

There is NO way to upgrade your IPB 2.0.x board to IPB 2.1.0 so please don't try as data loss WILL occur!

UPGRADING FROM IPB 2.1.0 BETA 3

There is no direct upgrade path from IPB 2.1.0 BETA 3 as the upgrade system has not been finished.
We STRONGLY recommend that you simply do a fresh install of BETA 4 to avoid any possible complications due to the template, SQL and settings changes.

If you are determined to upgrade your BETA 3 manually, then we must remind you that there is no official support and we are unable to provide any direct assitance.

For the MySQL and PHP savvy, you will need to update all the files (except conf_global.php) and run the SQL queries attached below. Once complete, you will need to update your settings, ACP permission keys and master templates.

Attached File ipb210beta4.sql.txt ( 4.14k ) Number of downloads: 180

To update your templates: ACP -> Look & Feel -> Skin Tools: Rebuild Master Skin Set. You can then click on "Rebuild All" to rebuild your skin caches.

To update your settings: ACP -> Tools & Settings -> View all Settings. Click on the "Browse" button to upload an XML settings file. Choose the settings file found at: install/installfiles/ipb_settings.xml.

To update your ACP permission keys: ACP -> Admin -> Manage Restrictions. Click the "Browse" button in the "Import an XML Permissions file" section. Choose file found in install/installfiles/ipb_acpperms.xml

Template bit changes are attached below

Attached File ipb_difference_export.html ( 64.8k ) Number of downloads: 133

UPGRADING TO FUTURE BETA RELEASES

Upgrade scripts MAY be provided to upgrade you to future BETA releases although this isn't guaranteed as it depends on further changes to the code's core.
